Rhythm of Life is Burnaby annual community fundraising walk and run. The funds from this event provide support for the FITT Cardiac programs and Burnaby Hospital Healthy Heart Program in the community.
The FITT Cardiac Association is a strong partner of the Burnaby Hospital Healthy Heart Program and provides much needed social support to all participants in the community exercise classes. FITT members are a dedicated group of volunteers who have been instrumental to the continued success of the annual Rhythm of Life. They have been and continue to be part of every aspect of this fundraising event. The Rhythm of Life was originally started in 1999 by Burnaby Hospital Healthy Heart to promote heart disease awareness in the community and to raise funds for program development and staff education. With the effort and support from FITT volunteers, the Rhythm of Life Run continues to thrive in the community and now celebrates it’s 20th year.
So come out and join us for a run or walk through the trails of Burnaby Lake Regional Park. Afterwards, stay energized with refreshments, live entertainment and family fun activities. Whether you’re young or golden, the event has something for everyone.
